WHAT IS A SPREE?

Spree is to purchase items in bulk from overseas merchant and to split the shipping cost among all other spree participants.

WHY SPREE?

Save on shipping cost
Online spreeing is a collective shopping method in which a group of people come together to make bulk purchases of similar items. This way, you save on shipping charges. In addition, online shopping relieves you of the frenzy of squeezing with the shopping crowd, and allows you to view products, compare prices then make your purchase from the comfort of your home. 

Get better prices online
Online merchandise is generally much cheaper than those sold in retail outlets. Why? The answer is quite straightforward. Online merchants are often spared the overheads of maintaining physical outlets. Also, online retailers save on the cost of exportation, and these savings are passed on to you. 

HOW TO SPREE?

Browse through the merchants from our list to check out their items. When you have set your eyes on any item, simply email us the orders using the format given on the spree page. Next, simply fill up the form accordingly. Most of the sprees would require your name, email address (for updates) and the details of the item you would like to purchase. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at sweetevilspree@gmail.com and we will guide you through it!

- Once order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive any confirmation within 2-3 working days after you placed an order, do email us at sweetevilspree@gmail.com to check on your orders.

- Once we have placed the order, the merchant will check on the stock and notify us if there are any out of stock (OOS) items. If there is/are any, we will email to inform you. We would need your account number for refund if all your items went oos, otherwise, refund will be made after using the excess to offset 2nd payment.

- Once your items have arrived, you will be prompted to make your second payment (if any) for top up of actual shipping fees and local postage. A breakdown will also be sent to you. We will attach along an excel sheet, including all the item prices, shipping per unit and top ups or refund needed. 

Kindly email us back with the format indicated once second payment (if any) is done. Once payment has been verified, your items will be sent out via your preferred shipping method. 

ORDERING & DELIVERY

How do I place an order?

I have a question before ordering. What should I do?
You can drop us an email with your question to sweetevilspree@gmail.com and we will answer your queries within 24 hours.

What are the mode of payments Sweetevilspree accepts?
We accept DBS/POSB/UOB ATM, IBANK transfer, INTERBANK & PayPal. 

Please note that we will not have any receipt number or identity of yours reflected on our account statement. Therefore, if there are many transactions on the day, it will cause serious delay for your account to be credited with the amount if it was not informed to us immediately after payment.

After any transfer of payment to Sweetevilspree, we require shoppers to submit to us the transfer transactions details including Date & Time of transfer, transaction reference number and IB Nick (if applicable). You are required to fill up these details in the format given. You can find the format under each spree details.

For PayPal, there will be a nominal fee of 7% of the total payable amount. We regret to inform you that if this additional fee is not reflected in your initial payment, you will be required to do a top-up. Please note that this top-up will incorporate 7% of your now total payable amount because PayPal charges a percentage of every transaction credited.

How will my items be mailed to me?
Sweetevilspree ships all purchased items through Singpost. Customers can choose to use either normal or registered postage to have their items delivered. For registered parcels, there will be a tracking number issued by Singpost and will be provided upon request.

What is a registered article?
Registered article is a service provided by the post office which allows your package to be traceable with a fee of S$2.50 required by Singpost. This will significantly reduce the risk of non-delivery. Hence, we strongly recommend this option. All registered parcels comes with tracking numbers so customers can track their parcels should they fail to receive their parcels within 5 working days. Registered parcels are being sent directly to the recipient door step.

What is the difference between normal and registered postage?
Normal postage is being send like a normal regular letter to your mail box. Buyers would have to bear the risks of lost mails as its almost impossible to track back a lost mail via normal postage. 

Can you do meet up for me to collect my items?
Yes, you may self collect at our residential on every Thurs 7pm or 10.30pm.

I am an international buyer. How are the postage charges like?

DELIVERY OPTIONS






Normal Postage
Get your items via normal postage by Singpost. This is the most basic method.
Delivery in Singapore takes 2-5 working days. Not trackable by us, we will not be held liable for lost mail via Normal postage. We will, however, ensure that your item(s) is packed safely and securely and sent out on time.

Registered Postage
Delivery in Singapore takes 2-5 working days. To ensure 100% delivery of your items by Singpost, opt for the registered postage. The package will be delivered to your doorstep by the postman. Registered mail comes with tracking number, can be tracked online and delivery can be arranged again if the first attempt fails. Please note that registered article option is also required for all bulky items as required by the post office. A tracking number will be provided upon your request and you will be able to track the status of your parcel here on the Singpost website with the provided tracking number.

Self Collection
There will be no charge for self collection of your items at our residential on stipulated day and time. We are located at 1, Leicester Road Singapore 358828. Exact address will be provided upon payment verification if opting for this method of collection.

Is there a minimum amount I need to place for an order?
No, we basically accept any amount orders. In fact, we encourage more shoppers to participate. This is because, the more people join, the faster the batch will reach its capped amount. This means that Sweetevilspree will be able to place the orders with the merchants FASTER! No matter the amount you order, your shipping charges will be split accordingly among other spree partcipants.
          
If I am the only participant in a spree, will you still proceed with my order?
Normally we will proceed with the order only when the batch has reached the minimum capped amount. However, upon customers' request, we may order the items before that. The only difference is U.S domestic shipping charges will not be shared. Sweetevilspree may combine your order with other spree orders available at its own discretion. Therefore, this will still allow you to share your International shipping charges with others. Only under circumstances where there are no other spree orders available to share your International shipping charges, you may have to bear the total shipping charges.

Do I have to wait till the cap is reached before you can proceed with my order?
Yes, this is in order to maximise your potential savings with other spree participants. Alternatively, should you wish to have your items earlier nonetheless, you may put in your request to us. We will process your order if the minimum requirements of the merchant’s promotion (should there be any) is met with other participants. Please note that this option is subjected to approval, in view of fairness to other spree participants.

How do I know if my order and payment has been successfully submitted to you? 
Once you have submitted your order via email, you will receive an email to inform you that we have received your order and payment within 24 hours.

If I have second thoughts after payment, can I cancel my order and have my refund?
As long as Sweetevilspree has not placed the orders with the respective merchants, we would still allow customers to seek for a refund and cancellation of order. We regret that no refunds or cancellation of orders are negotiable once any order has been placed with the merchant.

What happens if the item which I wanted is out-of-stock after payment has been made to you?
Out-of-stock items are more common during sales and promotions and we understand your disappointment. Sweetevilspree will contact you as soon as we notice that the items are Out-of-stock. Please reply as soon as possible for your desired actions. If we receive no reply, we will omit the out-of-stock item and proceed with the available items. Any excess payment will be used to offset the second payment amount.

How will I be charged?
There will be 2 payments for every purchase transaction unless otherwise stated.

First Payment
As the international shipping charges depend on the items ordered, the exact shipping charges will be finalized after the items are ordered and sent to the courier service.

Sweetevilspree will collect an intial shipping fee and handling fee in each order. This initial shipping fee is normally SGD5 and is used as a form of deposit for your actual shipping cost. 

The cost of item ordered will be converted to SGD using the exchange rates set by Sweetevilspree.

Please take note that the Product Price will be the price AFTER any merchant discount. For example, if you are buying 2 for $10, please type $5 for Product Price and 2 for quantity. However, in cases where the promotion ends or the merchant deny the discounts at their discretion, Sweetevilspree will email shoppers about the situation. Should the shoppers decide not to buy, Sweetevilspree will then refund the shoppers. For refund details, please refer to Sweetevilspree Refund Policy.

Shoppers that are looking for Limited Time Offers from merchants are recommended to group along friends or other shoppers to order from the same batch. So when the batches complete faster, we will be able to order quickly and you will be able to enjoy the discounts!

First Payment = Total cost of items (in SGD) After Discount + Initial Shipping Fees + Handling Fees

For Example:
Let's say you bought Item A at US $10 and Item B at US$20. After merchant discount of 20%. The initial shipping fee is $5. The USD-SGD exchange rate is 1.42.

Calculation of First Payment :
Total cost of Items (SGD) After Discount = (10 X 1.35) + (20 X 1.35)
= SGD 40.50
Initial shipping fee (SGD) + Handling Fees ($X * 2) = $5 + $2
= SGD 7
Therefore, First Payment (SGD) = Total Cost of Items (SGD) After Discount + initial Shipping Fees (SGD) + Handling Fees (SGD) 
= SGD 47.50

Please note that your order will only be confirmed after you have made the First Payment. Kindly make the transfer within 12 hours after submitting your order with us otherwise your order will not be taken in. Any transaction that did not make the First Payment after 12 hours will be applicable for Batch Demotion. Once you have made the First Payment, kindly email Sweetevilspree to update us on the transaction details. Sweetevilspree will then verify the transfer within 24 hours. If there is any discrepancies in the payment, you will receive a notification email from us to rectify the issue.

Second Payment
Sweetevilspree does all these Calculations For You. For our transparent operations, we have listed down how these calculations are made.

This payment includes the remaining International Shipping Cost (includes GST if applicable) , Sales Tax (if Applicable), GST Charges (if applicable), Postal Charges and First Payment excess due to eg. merchant discount (if applicable).

When your purchased items have shipped to Singapore, Sweetevilspree will consolidate the items and hold them until all items that you have ordered in that particular transaction have arrived. Once you have made the Second Payment to us, we will deliver your items to you by your chosen delivery method.

The Second Payment will be calculated as below:
For example: For each batch ordered, there will be a finalized international shipping cost in SGD (Cost1).

To calculate how much you need to pay for item A shipping cost out of Cost 1, a ratio R1 is used.
R1 = weight of item A / total weight of items in Batch
Thus, you need to pay SGD (R1 X Cost1) for Item A Shipping Fee.

Therefore, Second Payment = SGD (R1 X Cost1) + SGD (Postal Charges for Items A) + GST (if applicable) + Sales Tax (if applicable) - Initial Shipping Fees - First Payment excess (if applicable)

It is important to note that the finalized international Shipping Cost for all batches may include any taxes (eg. GST) that is applicable.

Delivery
Once the transfer of Second Payment has been verified, Sweetevilspree will send your purchases to the mailing address that you have provided in the format given.

How long will my delivery take?
To maximise your savings, all sprees will be using the cheapest shipping option. In general, the estimated delivery time is as follows:
- U.S domestic shipping time (Average: 5-8 business days)
- International shipping time (5-8 business days)
- Local shipping time (1-3 business days)
Thus, you can generally expect your goods to reach you in about 15-21 business days (3-4 weeks).

Can I know my shipping charges in advanced?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine the exact charges as we do not have the package information (size and weight) until the package have reached us. However, base on our experience, we could still provide a rough estimation.

Why is flat standard International shipping charges calculated based on item’s price and not according to weight?
Let us take an illustration of a participant who ordered a polo shirt for $80, he or she would have taken up 40% of the spree limit. As a result, fewer people can join the spree which would mean higher shipping since lesser people can split shipping charges. Hence, as a fair distribution, International shipping charges is calculated in ratio to items’ value.

Rest assured that as your Spree Organizer, we will always split the shipping charges as fairly as possible because this is our mission. We may factor in weight and prices on a case by case basis.

Will I be charged for GST?
GST is only applicable when an order combined is above S$400 (inclusive of shipping charges and sales tax if applicable). 

Will you sell my personal information?
We respect all our users' privacy and take every reasonable effort to protect them. Please read on our Privacy Policy to understand more.

Why are you requesting for my bank account number?
We will request your bank account number only when we need to make any refunds to you if necessary. We will NEVER ask for more detailed information other than your bank account number.
